Don’t downplay Uppercase Living as a hobby: If you don’t sound serious, then why should he take you serious? Share and celebrate your successes with him. 3. Happy wife-Happy life: After 15 years of marriage I think I am finally catching on to the phrase: If Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy. Help him see that it is necessary to keep mama happy by helping her feel challenged and accomplished in her own things. As a bonus point, a happy wife is a better role model for the family. 4. Family First: No texting, emailing, or answering business calls during family time. Set boundaries so that your downline and customers always know that your family is your FIRST priority. Learn how to sell Upper Case Living. 5. Just ask: Men are fairly simple creatures. If you want his support, just ask him for it. You might say: “Oh my extremely handsome husband— I really, really, want to be a leader in this business. Are you with me on this? (If he says no…..gently remind him of tip #5 above) 6. A family affair: Sit down with him and set your wall decals for kids room sales goals together. Involving your family in your business, where applicable, can be a great bonding tool. It also can be a great teaching tool as you share with your children how to responsibly run a business. Set your schedules together- plan out what nights you will set aside for Open Houses so that they do not conflict with family events. Understand that what works best for you, may not always work best for your family.
