Buying Lingerie For The Plus Sized Woman

If your girlfriend or wife is one of those with more curves than bones, don’t think that buying lingerie for her is out of the question. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Plus size women today have so many more choices than the women of the past ever dreamed of. The Internet has opened up lingerie buying to women of all shapes and sizes. You simply have to do a little shopping. Keep in mind when shopping for your plus size gal that you may not just be able to run out to the mall to get her gift though. While some specialty stores carry a couple of lines and items in a select set of sizes, the Internet is where you’re going to find your best selection.

While the selection is not as large as the selection for the smaller size, there’s usually something comparable in the plus size section. Know ahead of time what size you’re going to need, as there’s nothing worse than buying a full figured woman lingerie only to have a) picked out the wrong size and guessed she was bigger than she was or b) picked outhe wrong size and have it be too small and making her feel bad. So, go armed with information. Look at her bra sizes while she’s in the shower. Check out her bottom size. Also, check out the style of underwear she wears. While the string types comes in plus sizes, that doesn’t mean she’s going to want to wear one. Note her dress size too as some lingerie comes in that size too. If all her current lingerie is in black, take a hint that’s a color she likes. It’s doubtful she’s going to suddenly want something in yellow. However, you might try buying her a black with another color accent as a way of slipping some color into the wardrobe.
