Do You Have Pet Insurance
July 29, 2010 on 4:11 am | By admin | In News and Society | Comments OffOften times you will hear that our pets run our lives. Our dog, or cat does not belong to us, we belong to them. A member of our family, they bring us such happiness. As a family member, they should be covered by pet insurance. Like any other member of the family, our pets have the ability to become ill, they require trips to the vet, and sometimes the fees associated with that illness can be an expense for which we did not plan. There are other times when we must be admitted to the hospital and leave our pets behind because we do not have anyone reliable to care for them in our absence. Boarding fees can add up if you need to be away for an extended period of time. When we have to worry about your pets, it hinders our ability to recover from an illness or injury.
Pet insurance helps to alleviate any stress and worry we have about our pets and gives us peace of mind. For instance, a pet insurance policy with Marks and Spencer will cover veterinary fees if your dog becomes ill or injured. While we always hope it will never happen, if your dog is lost or stolen, the policy will cover advertising fees for posting lost/stolen advertisements, and even cover a reward offer for the safe return of your dog. If you need to go to the hospital, they will cover emergency boarding fees. When you think about it, having pet insurance ensures that you will be the best pet parent possible.
Are you a Tesco Clubcard Holder? Tesco Pet Insurance covers both cats and dogs. You can choose from standard coverage or Extra coverage. Standard coverage will cover illness or injury on your pet. Extra coverage covers those illnesses or injuries to an additional maximum amount. Tesco even offers discounts when you choose to cover more than one pet. As a member of the family, your pets deserve to be covered in the event they are accidentally injured or become ill. It is suggested that you research the many companies that offer pet insurance to determine which price point and company will best fit your needs.
