The national debate over the issue of illegal immigration has been continuing for some time and doesn’t look like it is going to be resolved any time soon. The issue is simply too complex for any single, simple solution to cover the entire problem. Nevertheless, there have been a number of people and organizations that have risen to the forefront of the debate and are very recognizable in media and political circles that have an interest in this issue. The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is one such organization, and they have, for a long time, been trying to accomplish their own goals and lobbying for policy change that is in line with their ideals.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform is one of the most recognizable faces in this debate. They are a non-profit organization focused on changing the current immigration policies of the country by implementing more advanced technologies at the borders and enforcing the laws that are currently in place. To that end, the organization has been actively lobbying policy makers, spreading their message to various media, government, or other public outlets, and releasing their research on the possible effects of the current levels of illegal immigration.

Of course, the response to these actions has been as divided as the immigration issue. Some people have responded positively to FAIR’s message, while others claim that the Federation For American Immigration Reform is anti-immigration and practices discriminatory practices. Both sides of the argument will continue to influence policy and work toward their own goals until a final resolution is made.
