Where Would We Be Without government Benefits?

The government provides assistance from the benefits agency for people in more ways than many people understand. It may be financial; it may be in the form of food, in the form of clothes,  help from the child benefit office or even transportation, etc. Whatever the method, if it did not exist the nation could go in two directions. It may cause more than the thousands of people that already exist to fall below the poverty line, people would no longer be able to afford homes, cars, and their way of living would be greatly diminished. The education of the nation would be at a devastating low because many people would not be able to afford higher education and those who attempt to go to the nation’s top schools would have minimal chances of getting in. Scholarships can only do so much but how many can they help. When it comes to food, new mothers may not be able to feed their children. Hospitals would see more empty beds because people would not be able to afford health care and it is very likely that the nation’s death rate would increase because of simple health issues that one simply could not afford to have checked.  On the other end, one may see lack of benefits as a deterrent. If people know that there is a lack of resources, people may be more inclined to pay attention to the quantity he or she uses now. It is difficult to preserve when on doesn’t know how much is left. However with many other things, for example energy, educating consumers can afford them the knowledge they need to sustain what they have and keep the future in mind.
