WoW Farming Tips for High Level Players

This term means gathering resources for a length of time in a location. You do not have to be high level to try some WoW farming, however the more experience you have the more zones that will be open to you. That means you can kill more challenging creatures for better item drops, or to gain access to more out of the way places that lower level players cant reach.

It is important to note here that you should try and stick with the highest level WoW farming you can possibly manage. Also, check the auction house and see what items and materials are going for. Some may be more in demand than others, so stick with those that sell well. Remember, the WoW economy works a lot like a real economy and supply and demand applies here. No amount of farming will help you earn money if you are gathering an item that no one has a need for.
What to Farm?
The term WoW farming isnt limited to a certain type of item. You can farm anything. Some players prefer to gather supplies, such as herbs and fish oil. Others go straight for gear and items that other players need. However, the most lucrative method of steady farming is to go for crating materials that players need to level up their professions. These are always in demand because there are always many people trying to skill up their profession. Not to mention those that need items to make things they need. If you plan to make WoW farming a regular habit, then go for material gathering spots.
Updated Farming Locations
Along with the level cap raise to 80, new zones were introduced. If you want to stay on top of the best WoW farming, know here to go in these new areas. An excellent choice is to farm for Elemental Eternals that were introduced in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Having the Cold Weather Flying ability will help when WoW Farming these. Also note that in order to farm effectively, you should be no lower than level 77. Otherwise, you may only encounter many deaths and multiplied frustration.
